Cylinder 1 Misfire

Cylinder 1 Misfire

Postby Will [OP] » January 21st 2012, 11:38pm

I recently purchased a 99 Safari with several codes

Before any repair
Air Flow sensor - Changed filter - fixed

Fuel pressure evap. - Replaced sensor - fixed

Misfire cylinder 4 - replaced, plugs, wires, cap, rotor. fixed but now there is a misfire cylinder 1 Code

If you run the vehicle during a live performance scan it shows random/multiple cylinder misfire but the code is now always Cylinder 1 P0301 It feels like a dead miss

I have compression checked all cylinders - Good pressure

I have double checked the coil, crank sensor, distributor gear, pulled the fuel tank to replace the pressure sensor no trash or water in the tank.

I am not sure about the injectors but I would assume it would not have changed cylinders if that were the case.

I have not checked fuel pressure but the pump is supposed to be new.

I have not checked the fuel filter or the egr. At this point I feel I am done with ignition.

Any ideas at this point would be greatly appreciated

Thank You
Will - 99 GMC Safari Cargo 156K
