multi branch water manifold under evaporator name?

Hi, could anybody give me the name of the multi branch manifold that sits to the left of the engine under the evaporator? I need to order a new one but don't know what to ask for. Thanks very much if you can help.

Hi all, I had the top pipe break on my water heater valve. I sent out a friend to grab me another from a breakers yard/scrap yard and he got one, but it only has 4 of the 6 pipes on it. I assume the extra pipes would be for the rear heat which doesn't work anyway. Would I get away with fitting this instead of the 6 pipe valve and just leaving the other pipes off as I am completely stuck and have no transport at all? Thanks for any help you can give.

Sure, you can bypass the entire thing if you want. I wouldn't put a used valve in there as they get brittle with age, I would replace it with the proper new part.

Paul, I say this with respect, but it has to be said.

On a specialty forum, pictures are not just for fun, they can be critical when asking for help. if you posted a pic, I'm sure someone on this excellent forum would be willing to label the connections and hoses for you. if I had the knowledge, I'd do it for you in a heartbeat.

I 'temporarily' removed the entire valve, by running a new hose from the engine to the heater core and back.
That was two winters ago....when I had virtually no heat, because the valve was apparently bad when I purchased the van.
The new part is still in the box, waiting for a convenient time.
I think there is a drawing in the system some place, done by one of the members, that shows the correct flow pattern of that assembly, but I am not sure if it was a 4-port, or the 6-port style.
