Hello , i make a lot of searches about swap my CPI intake to tbi , mpi and other stuff ! I need to know if anyone add the tbi intake in CPI engine with stock computer ? Thanks

I know buddy! Maybe i read all the post here and all around the web, my doubt is : can I connect the two injectors from tbi to the wires of cpi?? Thanks

I don't think that would work. TBI has two injectors so the ecm is designed for two, whereas the CPI has one injector and is controlled as one. Also the CPI is a close air intake system and the TBI is an open air system. The TBI ecm is somewhat programable for better performance the CPI system is not. There are no upgrades or for the CPI but many for the TBI. I have a ECM for the 4.3 TBI if your interested in buying one. $50.00 plus shipping, Mark
[email protected] if your interested email me and put ECM in the subject.

PS there is a company that professionally cleans TBI injectors too. I can port and polish your TBI for a price if you ship it to me during winter months. I am to busy in the summer,

Hi markmitch, yeah that’s true , i have a burn chip in mine CPI , thank you so much for your help , I need to know before if Brian from tbichip can make a eprom ! I meet someone with CPI and no one problem , I’m lucky lol
