While working on my car I realized a werid thing...I think there is something missing under the hood...

should there normaly sit something?

shouldn't there be something connecting the pipes, there's also a mount for some kind of pump, filter what so ever...i bought the car a few weeks ago, it was driving perfectly. After a 15 km drive the other da< the car died and since then the car startet but died after a few seconds...The car was open night and day, could it be that someon used my car for parts?!? I saw another van parked in the area which wasn't running...and was towed somewhere after a few days...I would laugh so hart if that's the reason for not running properly

Your missing your A/C compressor. Looks like you got a A/C delete pulley in its place. Your compressor went south and someone just swapped it out for a pulley instead of replacing it. No biggy you just have no A/C.

The bigger problem is, that if you want to replace the compressor, you are likely going to need to flush the A/C system to make sure you don't have contaminents getting into the compressor and sending it south again. So, unless you plan to invest a lot of money into having A/C, you are probably stuck with the delete pulley and 2/55 ( 2 windows down at 55mph ).
