po171 and po174 codes 1996 AWD 4.3 Astro

65,000 miles, automatic....just replaced O2 sensors a few months ago, I wonder what else to check? vacuum lines? seems this van breaks down every four months............any suggestions would be appreciated!!

If your O2 sensor wires are hooked up properly and not burnt. then maybe try checking for Vacuum leaks and the EGR valve. Vacuum leaks are common with these vans. Also carefully check the pcv valve tube for any cracks and the MAP sensor which is hooked up directly to the intake manifold on the passenger side right in front of the Ignition module and coil bracket at the manifold and check the MAP seal for any leaks their. Hope this helps. :)

The codes are for lean, bank 1 and 2...is the fuel filter plugged or maybe low fuel pressure?
