650 RPM

There was originally a decal on your fan shroud stating the idle speed. May have disappeared. Same decal with serp belt routing, vacuum routing, A/C refrigerant type warnings etc.

Mine is gone too, but because I took it off to mount an elec fan. Pretty handy info. I took a digital pic and made a printout for the glovebox. But not nearly as handy as if it was right there in the eng compartment. Esp the belt routing.

I have a tach in mine. It tries to stay at 550-650 RPM. If it will stay at 550 it will. If it drops to 500 then it will idle up to 650.
My real time data indicates periodically the computer just tries to idle at 598. It has a listing saying the IAC achieved that idle.
