On my '92 with the W engine where in the world is the TBPS? I think for sure I need to replace it?

It is located on the throttle body and I believe it should have a three wire connector.Check for code first . You can test it with a scan tool or a volt meter .Key on engine off, The voltage should increase gradually and smoothly as you slowly move the throttle.About .5 v at idle to 4.5 v or so at wide open throttle .
