Hard to start...sometimes

1995 Astro hard to start...sometimes. In morning / engine cold starts right up. But during course of day I sometimes (not always) have to crank long time for engine to start. I tried changing plugs / wires, didn't help starting problem but is running better over all. Ideas?

Think in terms of a fuel pressure test, and then get back to us. Have you tried to

give it a shot of starting fluid when it's hot ?

maybe throttle position sensor possible coil pull off wire check color of spark good spark is blue orange spark is weak

Ok the Pressure is 51 pds. After turning engine off stays at 51 but with maybe 5 minutes down to 36pds.

Never had to use starter fluid, it always starts...its just it doesn't start right up like it did over past year (bought / put on road Sept 2012).
