2 radiators

Postby Taffy25 [OP] » November 15th 2009, 11:43am

Realised i have 2 rads + the oil cooler, the standerd one that the fan cowl is usually mounted to, then another hidden away behind it cant really see it as theres a big piece of subframe in the way from underneath and its under the panel where the bonnet locks to, the oil cooler i can see from the front and is mounted to it.

Whats it for, hopefully i can get a look today if the misses permits.

Theres no mention of it in the haynes, and i havent found anything online about it so just curious lol.

Thanks in advance, taff.

Does your A/C work? Sounds like someone disconnected it, but left the condenser sitting in there. Not hard to get out if you wanna take it out.

Nah its never worked, i disconected the pipe from the pump when i did the headgasket and there was 0 refrigerant in it, yeah think ill just ditch it as i certainly dont need ac over here.

Any idea if the adjuster will take up the slack from the belt with the ac pump gone? i doubt it but worth asking.

Cheers for the replys.

They have A/C delete pulleys you can put in place of the A/C compressor or you can just leave it in there.
