Brake light in dashboard

Hi
just picked my astro van up from the garage where it had it's brake lines replaced...

Any way - now when I do a hard brake, then the light (O) illuminates in the dashboard...and one time I was braking the ABS kicked in...

Can air bubbles in the brake lines cause this behavior or is't something else?

- do the garage need to do anything specific after replacing the brake lines?

You need to take it right back there and tell them the brake light is coming on now. Their are procedures to follow when replacing the lines. Bleeding the brakes. Unfortunately they probably do not know that or they would have followed them.

yes i agree that you should take it back but they may have followed the procedures just fine. there have been many times i have blead brakes and later there has been some air work its way out of somewhere. But dont go in all pissed off just let them know and they will probably take care of it no questions asked. If you give them a hard time they might return the favor

thanks - The garage indeed did bleed the brakes....but not enough I guess... I'll take it back to them ..;D
