Brake kickin´ during each braking

Need an advice please. Have 2000 Safari (269,000 km). Week ago I´ve been to service to replace front brakes. A few days after, brake pedal started to kick and make strange noise (approximately at two thirds) when braking and it releases, so I am able to push it fully, after a while (2 - 3 secs). Also ABS light is still lighting. Someone who experienced something similar? Need to replace ABS module or sensors? Is it possible it´s something in connection with previous brakes replacemnet? Try disabling the ABS, pull the fuse, to see what happens to the symptom.

Could be ^, could be an ABS sensor crapping out. You need to figure out what the stored code is - by using a scan tool that is ABS capable.
