Autozone Steering Boxes

Autozone Steering Boxes

Postby Lowd239 [OP] » May 19th 2013, 5:07pm

I'm looking into get a new steering box for my 95 Astro and haven't been able to find conclusive information if the two Duralast steering boxes offered through Autozone are the standard and the quick ratio FE2 boxes.

http://www.autozone.com/autozone/parts/1995-Chevrolet-Astro-Van-2WD/Steering-Gear-Power-Steering/_/N-j8jelZ8oxw7

Is the 7562 the FE2 box and the 7534 the standard box??

Thanks for the help!

Jeff

Any thoughts? Autozone wasn't much help...they had no suggestions on where to find specs of each box. Thanks, Jeff

The 7559 part number box is the sport quick steering box. 2.6 turns of the steering wheel lock to lock.

The 7577 part number is the standard model. With 3.3 turns lock to lock.

No other differences in the boxes they both fit. Depends on what you want.
