The boss just called and asked if I noticed if the stone mason covered up the entry landing. Umm I don't know.
I live 10 miles away, he lives 25-30 miles away. 5:30 PM, raining, I've got to skirt the edge of downtown to get to the job site.
At least I'll take it as comp time friday and take off early.
in the AM I leave the house at 6:25 and get to the job site at about 6:45. It took me 55 mins. to get there tonight due to so many people that have never driven in a heavy drizzle before
I'll be getting off work at 2:00 on friday
Congrats on the comp time. I sat in lap traffic the other day and got a great pic of a custom painted Astro. I'll post it up in the random photo section as soon as I get this new pc up. Jim

Well, did the mason do what he was supposed to do? Or did you have to be his Mamma?
There seems to be something in the air down here that makes contractors stop thinking 30 minutes before they leave. Had a guy trowel on one of those really nice stone textured surfaces on the front porch of this beautiful home. Well, the customer has 2 , moose size, Pitbulls. He knew it, had the material, time and opportunity to easily make it to were the dogs couldnt get to the porch. Did he remember to do that before he left? So I get a phone call at midnight, she is freakin out! She let the dogs out before bed, so where is the first place they run to? Not only did they both run and slide across it, but then they both bulled right by her and ran into the house !!!! There was mortar EVERYWHERE! New hardwood floors, kitchen cabinets and door jambs got the worst of it. Luckily the door to the family room, with the cream colored wool carpet, was closed. It was 3:30 when I got home. And the topper to my evening....morning, all cement products make me break out.
The wine cellar is below the entry. I got a peek behind that locked door once. You could probably buy a brand new Caddi XLR with what all the bottles of grape juice cost.
