Your old blue van has absolutely helped me direct my "Astro search". Many years ago, I bought a brand new 91 Astro shortie passenger van. Years later, and the old Astro is long gone, I've been conflicted as regards my new search - - passenger shortie vs cargo shortie. Your "blue", put it all very clear in my eyes.

Thanks mate. I'll just go buy an old school bus ........... :-) Just kidding.

Happy New Year, Hank (also in Burbank)

Happy New Year as well. I considered a 2003+ AWD cargo van for a while because of the drivetrain improvements, but ended up with a Toyota pickup in the end. I miss being able to throw stuff in the back of the van and not worry about it as much as the exposed truck bed.

If you can find a cargo shortie with at least the rear windows, I would go that route. I actually still have the glass for the pop-out windows on the two barn doors & the slider door which I was planning to swap eventually.

Good luck with your search, Hank.

Hi tigerpwr,

Got my eye on a 94 Shortie Cargo with barn door and slider windows. Question for ya - Are the stock lug nuts/studs OK to use with my Impala wheels?

Cheers, Hank

I don't recall changing out the stock lug nuts on mine. Definitely didn't change the studs. As long as the nuts aren't flared or damaged from being over-tightened on steel wheels, they should be fine.

So do these work without a spacer? Do you know what the off set is on these wheels?
