Pretty much the only other vehicle that shares the 5 bolt pattern of the Astro/Safari is an older Chevy 1/2 ton with 5 bolt wheels.

According to this site -
http://www.roadkillcustoms.com/hot-rods ... ls=CARAVAN

2008 Dodge Caravan is 5x127, same as ours. IT doesn't seem to give us a 2001 Caravan.

The hub center is different. Astro is 78.3, Caravan is 71.5. That may or may not make a difference. Stock wheels are probably not hubcentric, the openings in the Caravan wheels might be big enough to fit the Astro centers.

Now this site -
http://www.vehicle-bolt-pattern.com/dod ... guide.html
Doesn't show any Caravans with a 5x127 pattern

And whatever the bolt pattern, the offset may be the same or very different than the offset on Astros.

So I guess the answer is - Maybe it will and maybe it won't.

Lotta help this darn interweb thing is.

To add to Lumpy's post, no the Caravan rims from 2001 won't fit. They are 5x114.3 (5 x 4 1/2") PLUS they are for a FWD so they have 40mm offset, the inside of the rim would be closer to the suspension. Only way to use them is to run a spacer w/ a new bolt pattern. And yes, the stock rims are hubcentric, they fit tight to the hub that sticks out. Cheaper to just take both rims/tires to Walmart and get them to swap tires for about $10.

I didn't know the '08 Caravans ran 5x5, thought that only some newer Jeeps came with that bolt pattern.

hi thanks guys , someone called today to see my van as i'm trying to sell it so I didn't try mounting the caravan wheel I just put the spare on.

The spare looks lik it has never seen light before it was really rusted out and I put it on when the guy got here. He drove it and said the brakes are shaky but I think it was just the rusty spare not sitting on the hub properly as the fronts are new

He tried to offer me $500 for my van because the brakes are shaking I told him $1000 on the phone don't even bother coming down for anything else lol :banghead:

Stock wheels on our vans are hubcentric so even if another set of wheels are 5x5, they won't fit if the hub is smaller.

The Caravan wheel was causing it to shake. It is off center. The center is not big enough to fit hub center, will not line up center on lug nut studs.

Even tho the lug nuts may be tapered, it still will not center on studs. it has to be centered on the hub.
