04 AWD / 4" OLV with Mickey Thompson Classic III

Just put on a set of 16" Mickey Thompson Class III with Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armor P255 70r16 tires on my 04 AWD.
Rims have zero offset so side door barely opens all the way, I may modify interior door panel in the future.

Those look awesome! Did you have to make any mods for the center caps to fit?

Can we get a peek at that rack you have on top? Did u make it, buy it....how does it mount etc. Maybe in another thread.

Thanks for all your feedback. The MT rims come with hub centering rings for late model Chevrolet/GMC applications. The caps just screw on with three screws but the large cap really adds I think.

The roof rack is a work in progress. It was built and designed by a fellow who makes aluminum fishing towers for large boats here in Miami. I wanted to start with a low profile light weight rack (40 lbs) that could be use as a camera platform, tent platform, kayak rack, etc. It is made of 1" aluminum tube, 65 welds and fastened to the ribs of the van on six feet, spaced with PVC flat stock. I'm using a piece of round foam on the front at the present time to stop wind noise and will change to a mounted air dam in the future. I'm still not sure if I want to powder coat or Pasti Dip in black, some days I do, other I like the aluminum look.

I have ordered chicken flooring from Farmtek that should be here in a few weeks. http://forum.ih8mud.com/camping-outdoor ... oring.html I'm going to try it as a flat platform first but have come around to the idea of having a full basket type rack much like the LR Defenders. I would still have the flooring but more of a higher profile basket look.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
