1999 Chevy Astro Van
I recently moved out of the mountains and no longer need an AWD van. This is a nice clean van that is ready for fun adventures. I have performed all of the modifications, service, and repairs for the last year and a half. Prior to that, I purchased the van from a family in Tahoe that owned it for years. I have the title and the van is smogged. The van is located in Santa Cruz, Ca. and I am asking $4000. Thanks for looking!
• 150K miles
• 2” Lift
• Bilstein rear shocks
• Ranch rs9000 front shocks
• Rear anti-roll bar
• 31” Goodyear DuraTrac tires with approx 5000 miles
• Interior has captain chairs in mid row
• Factory tow package so this van has 3.73:1 diff ratios and rear locking diff
• Recent work includes: Water pump, alternator, all slider door bearings, door seals, as well as all routine maintenance.
• LS model so it has front and rear heat and AC and cloth seats
• There are the usual dings and scratches of a 13 year old vehicle and there is one small dent on the right rear quarter panel
• Engine runs strong and doesn’t burn any oil
• The transmission clunks when the van shifts from first to second after the transmission is warmed up. This has been happening for about 4 years with no adverse effects. Otherwise the transmission functions great and I have used the van to tow trailers and have put 20,000 miles on it in the past year and a half. This does cause the check engine light to come on and the code reads that the transmission need service.
Please let me know if you have any questions either by e-mail ([email protected]) or phone (831) 440-9484.
Thanks!
