1999 AWD LS Astro with blown engine -- should I part out?

Postby khumusic [OP] » January 23rd 2021, 9:38pm

I have a 1999 AWD LS Astro with 206k. Engine is blown due to oil starvation (Oil pan cracked on a road trip and drove too far without realizing... ). There are a bunch of almost brand new parts in this thing (brakes, rotors, shocks, ball joints, tires)

Aside from the engine, everything is great shape.

Should I part it out or is there any chance someone would wanna put a new engine in it?

I'm located in Boulder, CO

Cheers

Try to sell as is first. There may be someone with a rust bucket and a great engine wanting to do the swap.

GAH! I wish you were closer, I've come to the realization I need more than one wheel drive. Unfortunately I'm rather far away.
