Thank you sixsix. I don't want to destroy or trash parts that could be used by someone else. There is someone who lives down the road from me, not even a mile from my house, who has collected at least three late 1960's Ford Mustang fastbacks. They just sit outside, in all weather conditions, uncovered. From what I can tell when I drive by, no work is being done to any of them. Last year, this same person added an early 1930's Ford Coupe to the collection; but at least it is covered with a tarp. Now, I do not know the person, or their circumstances for why they are doing this, but it is sad to see those cars rotting into the landscape. Along with selling the '85 Astro parts, I am also trying to sell some parts from my old Ford F150 on one of the F150 forums. Over 2000 views, and not one buyer, but you'll have that. At least I tried with them. I also have some parts that I will be listing in the future on the B Body Forum from my late grandparent's Caprice that my father and I are working on.

Now, for the tear-jerkier. The van that I am parting out is basically a rolling shell now. A friend of mine is a full-time EMT and volunteer fire fighter, and his fire department will be taking the rolling shell for training purposes...as a donation. There is one last part I want off the van, the 7.5 inch rear end, which I plan to use for a future project. My friend told me that the department will remove it for me once they have the van on site. This same friend also wants to take some of the body metal from the van to use as patch panels on one of his vehicles.

Due to my work situation, my only options for shipping the doors are FedEx and UPS; which is one of the reasons why I am pricing the doors so low. I want to help you, and not gouge you on total cost. If you look at the pictures, you will find that the doors are in decent shape for being 35 years old. The red areas on the front driver and passenger doors is from the magnetic signage my father use to have on the doors of the van for his business years ago.

One more thing about the doors. I currently have one key that will unlock all of the doors. If you want a key for your door, please let me know, and I will have one made for you for an additional charge to be determined by the hardware store. If you prefer a GM key blank to be cut, I will need to order the key blank and then have it cut, which will take additional time.

I still do not have pictures of the interior arm rests, but if you are interested, I can get pictures and post them. I will sell them for $2.50 OBO + Shipping each. Please bear in mind that the arm rests will need upholstery work done to them before they can be used.

Effective immediately...

Due to recent issues with shipping, I am discontinuing my efforts in selling off parts.

They're on the way-back burner.
It's basically filling the stock motor mounts that you sold me, with poly, stiffening them. Nothing new in the world, but new to me. And cheaper than inserts.

I wish that was the issue, but unfortunately, it is not.

We shipped out the radiator support on Wednesday, December 16th, with an estimated delivery date was Friday, December 18th. I was contacted by the buyer (whom has purchase other van parts off of me) either Monday or Tuesday this past week, asking me if we had shipped the radiator support yet. When I tracked it, it was at a shipping center less than 30 minutes away from the buyer; and had been since Saturday, December 19th. I followed up with the buyer again, closer to the holiday, because the tracking updated and said that it had been delivered. Unfortunately, that turned out not to be true. A claim has been filed, and hopefully this can get resolved soon and the buyer will eventually receive the radiator support.
