Hello everyone,

My father and I have decided to part ways with our 1985 Chevrolet Astro cargo van. We have had the van in storage for several years, and we have not been working on it. Before we have the van hauled off, I am in the process of identifying parts that could possibly be sold and not wasted. I only have a few images available right now, but there will be more posted soon.

We live near Morgantown, WV; and the van is stored at a storage space just outside of town. As for the parts, some are good used parts and others are brand new parts that were never installed. I am going to try to post the prices as fair and reasonable as possible, because I want to move out of the storage space; which would save me $175 per month that could be added to my savings or put towards other things like home repairs, other vehicles in ownership, etc.

If you are interested in the following parts that will be posted, or questions about the availability of a part I do not have listed yet, please message me. I will use PayPal for the transaction. If you need the item shipped, the price of shipping will be applied to the PayPal invoice before it is sent to you. I will do my best to arrange for the most reasonable shipping cost for the you. Below, you will find all of the interior trim parts that I have available for sale. Unlike my other items for sale, I am selling the interior trim parts as a package deal, for $35.00 + Shipping OBO.

A few things to mention:

1. You will see that one of the items is maroon in color, instead of tan or brown. Before the van went into storage, my father was experimenting with idea of giving the interior a color change to maroon.
2. The defrost vent covers have a few broken tabs, so they will need to be attached differently, or if you are a creative mechanic, you may come up with your own vent covers.

3. This is not a complete set of trim. The interior trim parts that you see in the following pictures are all that I have available. I identified the pieces that could be saved and reused, and have discarded the parts that could not be reused.

As a quick update:

The mirrors, motor mounts, grille and battery tray have been sold and shipped. They are no longer available.

The rear bumper is currently contingent.

All other items are still available.

Also, coming soon...I will be taking pictures of the doors and posting them for sale as well. All doors still have the glass, exterior handles (except the rear driver barn door, which is mounted between the two barn doors) and the original door locks in them; however, I only have the one key. As you may have seen in my previous post, I have all the interior trim posted together for a single price. I really do not want to break up the combo, but if you would be interested in the interior trim parts that go with either front door, I am willing to negotiate with you. Please note that this is a cargo van that I am taking parts off of, so the doors I will have available are:

Front driver and passenger doors
Passenger side sliding door
Rear barn doors

One last thing. Due to the cost of shipping, I am now using FedEx to ship the larger items that are being parted out.

For large things like door panels and such, check out Greyhound shipping, used to be pretty cheap, bus terminal to bus terminal.

Thank you for the information, AstroWill. I looked into Greyhound last week actually, but unfortunately, it is not an option for me. The closest terminal that will allow me to ship large items is approximately 1-1/2 hours away and out-of-state; and due to our current times, my place of work requires all employees to self-quarantine for 5 days upon return if we travel out-of-state. One of my job duties is opening daily Monday - Friday, and nobody I work with is willing to help pick up the openings or closings; so I have to remain responsible and be the good and dependable marionette puppet they expect me to be.
