I just 'shopped that onto one of of my rims.I kind of like it better than my honking chrome cap. What holds them on? Would I need special stepped lug nuts?
I've been trying to find a Bowtie for my centers anyway.

The stock center caps were held on by the lug nuts but there wasn't anything special about the nuts. Acorn or acorn bulged will do and would look nice covering the end of your wheel stud to protect if from rusting.

What style lugnuts do you have now Kenny?

I've just got standard steel wheel lugs. I've been wanting to get some chrome acorns anyway, that and the caps would really finish the look.
I'm guessing the caps should fit against my rims okay, the center of my rims looks like a regular steel wheel.

As long as the face of the rim is wide enough...........let me go measure my caps....hang on!

The caps are 7" wide. I would have put them on my aluminum wheels on my '96, but I like my little black caps that came with them.

Darn, I think they're too big. I measured the recess in the center of my rim, it's just over 6 1/2". I'm going to check again tomorrow in the daylight.

That could be I remember trying my stock '96 caps on my aftermarket rims and they didn't fit.

Mr. Postman just brought me a package.

I'm going to wait to put these on until I get the new chrome lug nuts I ordered from ebay. So, pics to come, maybe Friday...

(Oh, and I have to get plenty of anti-sieze to put my new lug nuts on. )

It only took me a year but I finally did something with Mr Bowtie's center caps.
There's not much left of them; after i tried to fit them I didn't like how they looked on my rims. I tried cutting away the flange but then they weren't deep enough to fit the front hubs. I never liked how long my chrome caps were; it turned out the diameters matched so I cut them back about 1 1/2" , then attached the bowtie caps after cutting and shaping them.
I like how they turned out.
