trouble installing corvette servo on 1993 astro

Postby californiaastroluv76 [OP] » June 17th 2018, 6:51pm

what's up guy yesterday i decided to install the corvette servo. i was able to get it out switch the parts everything no problem. When I put everything back together and installed it i wasn't able to put that clip back on the servo's cover. what a pain in the butt. I've spent a whole day yesterday and early this morning. Anyone got any tips? I put a 2x4 against the cover of the servo to push it in and stays in place. For the life of me can't get that clip to go in. :( I"ve read some horror stories where the band inside might of moved or people just had trouble getting that clip on cause they didn't put the parts in correctly. Please help need my van before tomorrow. Tomorrow is my first day of work. :(

If you put it together wrong, or put it in wrong.. the cover won't go back on.
It is easy to get something wrong.

I used a little leverage to get my cover back on.

very true i've been trying to see if i can take it out only thing is that i have to brake that O ring so i can take the whole thing out. You think Autozone or Oreillys might have it? If so I woudldn't mind taking out. I'm about to check your discussion on it.
