4l60e transmission slipping? TCC Valve or Solenoid?

Postby californiaastroluv76 [OP] » October 30th 2018, 4:55am

What up guys was looking into why my transmission is slipping. Had seen online that it would be my TCC PWM Solenoid or maybe getting spring for the TCC Valve? Hmm.......

What gear is slipping?
How many sensors, fuses or computers does a Bw4472 need? Zero.

Well I've read it's probably either the TCC Pwm Solenoid and also the TCC valve. It's a common thing. I'm debating if I shud just get a new refurbished valve body with all the upgrades. Don't have the cash to get it rebuilt

Typically the solenoids will go before the hard parts. A shop will probably charge $500 for the valve body and the solenoids.

awesome might get a refurbished valve body or just end up replacing the valve and solenoid. Also, i noticed my ABS light is on. I noticed that sometimes an ABS wheel sensor might be the cause for the transmission to acting up. Is this true? :(

I would drop the pan and look for material in the bottom of it, most likely the trans needs to be rebuilt.

The servo is mechanical and controlled by diverted pressure. It's unusual for it to malfunction. Seriously, take it to a real shop that doesn't have the answer of "rebuild it" every time.
