transfer case tools ???

transfer case tools ???

I need to go and pull a transfer for a 94 and the van is a 45 min drive away from me to check, so i need to know what tools will i need to yank one out at the junk yard.I dont want to carry a 70 pound tool box around and I dont want to show up and not have something i need thanx

In all honesty, I would just bring the 70 lb toolbox with you so if anything unexpected arises, you are covered.

yeah i was thinking about it. it just sux because all the yards around me wont tell you if they have a van sitting there or not.they just want you to pay them there $2 fee to enter and find nothing.

Just an FYI: the transfer case from a 92-94 is exactly the same as one from a 92-94 AWD Astro - they're both Borg Warner 4472 cases.

Gives you another option, anyway.
