tranny fluid?

what kinda tranny fluid is recommended in my 2002 astro van rear wheel drive? My cherokee required dexron III. So i was cuirous about my astro van.

look on trans dipstick it should be on there closer to the end and it'll tell what is recommended

Dexron VI is the latest recommendation by GM for you're vehicle.

DEXRON-VI delivers more than twice the durability and stability in friction tests compared to existing fluids. It also better resists pitting, foaming and oxidation inside the transmission.
