Automatic door locks

Automatic door locks

Postby danimama4 [OP] » February 14th 2011, 7:46pm

I wasn't sure where i should post this, sorry if it's in the wrong area.

My automatic locks work using the remote but will not work using the button on the doors. Neither the driver door or passenger door buttons work. Weirdly enough i got a tune up done over the weekend and it stopped working after getting that done. My guess is there's something that got unplugged but i don't have the vaguest idea of where to look. Does anyone have any words of wisdom for me?

Thanks in advance.

BTW, it's a 1997 Astro.

You forgot one thing when you posted. Are these factory power locks or aftermarket door locks. If it is opening with the remote the the fuse is working. It needs power to open with either the door button or the fob remote the actuators need 12V to work, Will only one door button not lock or will any lock button, say the other door, not lock either? Maybe with this information we can take a stab at it
