Ground Connections

Ground Connections

Postby Thunderball [OP] » August 10th 2011, 4:00am

Does anyone have a list, or drawing, etc. for all the GROUND connections on the Astro? I did some searches, but nothing came up. It seems there are grounds all over the place, but how many actually exist?

Thanks!!

Good question. Hopefully Phantom will be along with his handy pdf files. I can tell you a real important one is on the top radiator hose inlet bolt.

Another one is the Alt ground wire and the ones at the fuseable links.

See, that's it....all these little grounds. Where is the alternator ground? I think I've hit most of them under my hood and the main (-) cable on the block, plus the one by the thermostat. Ya, hope Phantom has a magic list out there.

Basically any wire or connection that is attached to the frame or chassis that runs back to the battery is a ground , a program I have on another computer has diagrams of all the grounds , as there are many , how many in number , all I can say is alot , I would have to make pdf files for them , as i have not had reason to make those before , but i do have some circuits on this pc that may help if you need .

Here is one for the starting circuit ,
