Front door locks and dome light not working

Front door locks and dome light not working

Postby twinsport [OP] » November 26th 2017, 5:00am

Just bought my first Astro,2004 awd.
The front power door locks are not working, side and rear work.
The dome light only works with the dash override switch or the rotary dimmer switch.
I have tried the door programing which now operates the door chime which goes off when the door is closed meaning the front door pin switches are working.
the drivers door lock switch does not operate any of the locks when the drivers door is open.

Thanks

It's pretty common for the door lock actuators to wear out. Time to grab the wiring diagram and a multimeter and go to work.

Trolls take away from productive work, best to ignore them & go about your business.
