Both Front AND Rear Wipers won't turn off

This just started today when I turned the van on..... With switches off, the wipers both come on when ignition is turned to run.... I thought maybe the multifunction switch, but then realized the rear wiper wiring is on a separate circuit (pulling the wiper fuse does not deactivate the rear wiper).... Only place I can think of them being connected is at the washer, but I don't see anything amiss there.....

Also, the right turn signal indicator glows very softly when ignition is on, and when the switch is turned to right signal position, it blinks hypoerfast.... Left turn signal functions as normal....

Thoughts?

Yep, the front wipers are fuse #17 labeled Wiper, and the rear is #23 labeled RR Wiper. They are completely separate circuits, so that is really odd that they are both doing it. Do they just wipe once, or continuously? Possible bad ground/stray voltage somewhere?

When your lights hyperflash, it's an indication of a burned out bulb(or bad connections/wrong bulb). Have you checked your bulbs and connections?

All the bulbs appear to work.... And the wipers run continuously.....

Oooops, turns out the ground connection behind the coolant reservoir was loose due to boneheadedness on the part of the van's owner when he was working on the cooling fan....... Problem solved.....

I would start checking grounds....

Glad the problem is solved....and yeah, loose grounds can cause all kinds of ghost issues. I just cleaned and tightened that ground yesterday while working on my blower motor.
