Need some help!

Hi,

I own a 1990 chevy astro LT 4.3 V6.

I am having trouble with my door locks from the inside.

On the drivers side I can lock the door but when I go to press the unlock button nothing is happening.

On the passenger side both lock and unlock is not working.

I need some advise!!

Either the switches are bad (unlikely for both to be bad), you have broken wires in the door, or your door jamb switches aren't working properly.

On my '05, it was a combo of an intermittently-bad lock switch in the driver's door plus a bad door jamb switch (I've always called it a door pin switch, but GM says door jamb switch). With the passenger door switch not working right too, though, I'd swap the driver's switch into the passenger and see if anything changes (and vice versa). If it still acts the same, nothing swaps from driver side to passenger side, the switches probably are fine and you need to look at wiring and the door jamb (pin) switches.
