Instrument Cluster Lights

Instrument Cluster Lights

Postby jhaynes [OP] » August 17th 2009, 11:53pm

I have the push style park/lowbeam/off headlight switch. When I turn on my park lights or low beams all the lights come on...stereo ac control etc except my instrument cluster. Occasionally if I am driving off road and hit enough bumps they light up and stay lit until I turn off the van. When I turn the van back on no lights. I figure a connection problem, if anyone could tell me where that would be wonderful.

Thanks,
Justin

i would start at the back of the switch. mine burned out and the lights wouldnt come on unless you turned them off and on a bunch of times then they would stick on. the contacts inside were wore out.
Don't explain it poorly 5 times. Take the 15 seconds to go out and take a picture of it!!
Please do not confuse idle conversation with technical advise
