Reverse Light Wiring

Reverse Light Wiring

Postby catbones [OP] » May 10th 2014, 1:05am

Anyone know what the light light green is and the gray wire both going to the reverse light. I'm trying to tap into those but I'm thrown off with the fact that a white wire is already patched into the light light green wire for brake controller.

Can anyone help with this?

Light green wire feeds power to the reverse bulb via the neutral/backup switch. Grey wire may be the ground. Stick a meter in there to double check.

Thanks, I really don't have anyone to pop it in reverse to test it. I was guessing because of the hookup.

Thanks again for the help :)
