Tail light wiring

Hello everyone. Just found the site and I have a question about the wiring of the tail lights. I have an imported Safari -93 from us and when I got it someone have changed the tail lights to european lights and of couse, they dont work properly .
Now I have bought new us lights and need to now how to wire them properly and colours of the cables and what they are for. Hope that someone know that I mean and that someone can help me because I really need help with this one. (sorry for my bad english). tnx in advance //Kent

Here's the schematic for a 95. Same color scheme for the wires in my 89 so I'd sure guess it's the same in your 93.

Hello again Lumpy, just stepping in to tell you that now does the tail lights work so many thanks to you for your help. Couldent done it without it

Good! All I did was pass along some stuff I probably saved from this forum in the past. I've got folders and folders full of stuff, mostly about my year Astro. But sometimes they overlap or remain constant across several year models.
