yes its supposed to have a light, in my 99 it just burnt out, the bad thing is that they dont sell just the bulb, you have to buy the whole switch, i went to the junkyard and i took one apart and all there is to it is a filament led (you know the ones u find at radio shack )

There is supposed to be. Mine works... Need a whole new switch or try to put in a new light. I think one of the bulbs in mine is burnt out, although its not the greatest picture in the dark.

Thanks, I think I will try to take it apart to see if I can solder in a new bulb.

LED's have a one way polarity. Be sure that you have the polarity right before soldering in the LED or it will not function. You can use a 9V battery to figure out which is positive.
