Cruise drops when I turn on the headlights

Noticed this little phenomenon the other day when I was cruising into work. Since I have a decent stretch of highway, when traffic is light I'll just pop on the cruise and take it easy. Well, one morning I had the cruise on, it started raining. MNDOT rules say, turn on your headlights when it starts to rain, so I do and immediately lost my cruise control.

Thought that was odd. So, I replicated it on the way home on a dry day. Cruise on, no lights...turn on marker lights, cruise turns off, same with turning on the headlights.

Yeah, was thinking of doing that. Seems like the headlights are acting like a brake pedal switch. I'm also going to swap out the led taillight bulbs to rule them out from feeding back into the brake circuit.
