You could get some electrical contact cleaner. Jim

If the high setting does not work, there is probably an issue with the switch. Not the blower itself.

Only the 3rd setting on the blower works and it only blows through the defroster...we replaced the vacuum hose that was missing and took the resistor pack off and found the high setting connector corroded.

The red wire being corroded will cause the high setting not to work, it bypasses the resistor pack. As Astroturf suggested, electrical contact cleaner, and scrape or lightly file the male pin, and try to do the same with the female part,I try to get something in there to close it up a bit. You want to see some shiny metal to get good contact.

You'll probably need to replace the blower resistor, but clean the connector and retest it first.

Well we got two of the blower settings to work...Then realized that the fuse for the air conditioner is missing. So we bought a fuse and put it in and the blowers stopped working :screaming: My husband fiddled and fiddled and then gave up, closed the hood, and wham! blowing again

The other thing is, we put the new fuse in and the air conditioner compressor does nothing...doesn't even attempt to start. Any thoughts on that??

How long have you owned the van? A/C compressor worked prior? Do you have a test light or digital meter for testing?
