Digital to Analog

Well my damn digital dash shorted out so I have no idea how fast I'm going, Temp, how much gas I have, If my battery is charging(I'm installing a volt meter)etc.
My question is that how hard would it be to just swap it over to a regular dash of the same year?

Somewhere on here is the list of things you need. I do know you need the wiring harness along with the dash.

However, the fix for a dead digital dash is usually re-soldering the cold solder joints on the back - they tend to crystallize/crack.

How complicated is it to repair the digital? I'd really like to just swap it over but if its not TOO much of a pain in the *** I might do it

I don't have a digital dash, but those who have fixed them say it's not that bad if you have any soldering skills.

To swap from digital to analog you offcourse need the gauge cluster and you'll need the wiring loom for the cluster.
The wiring loom is plugged into the vehicle wiring harnes just above the fusebox, look for a rectangular white connector.
Prying out the connectors behind the cluster will be the trickiest but with a little patience they'll come out just fine.
