ours are pretty similar, and have a lot of the same options, here's my VIN breakdown:

That's pretty cool! We're a few years apart, but both blue Astro vans, ex-government fleet vehicles. I guess they tend to order these government vans in similar ways.

For now, I'm keeping the van fairly close to stock, but we'll see what happens as time goes on!

I think those are called beauty rings... but yeah, looks good. Kind of gives it that bad @$$ look with the contrasting black steelies. Looks a bit like the older Corvette rally wheels. So many more choices with 5 lug wheels! I'm cursed with 6 lug 16" wheels! Oh well, as a trade off, it came with 4 wheel disc brakes.

"trim rings" ....ebay or a Camaro/Vette supplier. What you're looking for (if you have an 8" wide rim)...is a 3" deep CHROME trim ring. Stainless do not have the depth of shine.
I had to throw those rallyes on the 96 just to get it home. The night before I went to pick the van up...some punks went thru that neighbourhood and slashed about 100 tires...including two 90% tread winters that were on this one :x

Yeah some hooligans went around the block and spray painted cars and slashed a few tires. They left before they got my my neck of the woods

There is only 2 Other Vans with my exact option list.

Hi there. Great looking van..

I have a 99 Astro with the same radio as yours. I bought an adapter from Crutchfield.com. Here's a link to one http://www.crutchfield.com/p_541ISGM73/ ... tml?tp=120

I bought an adapter for my van from these people several years ago and love it. Works with the Aux button. No static.. Sounds perfect. The brand I bought from them is USA-Spec, but there are several out there. The people at Crutchfield are very helpful with online and phone support. They also supply a complete installation manual for any car audio item the sell..

Hope it helps..

tonka, that one looks pretty good! If I hook it up to the AUX button, I wonder if I could still have a satellite radio receiver via a wired FM modulator or a line output that doesn't require the AUX button.

BTW, I see in your signature you have an 83 Suzuki GS750 ES. I used to have that exact bike! You don't see too many of those out there anymore. Nice choice!
