AstroSafari t-shirts who would buy?

Postby markmitch [OP] » December 25th 2016, 6:04pm

The T shirt business is what it is and the more we order the best deals we get so I will look into the Idea of having some made if we have enough interested. I live on a budget so I won't order if there is not enough interested. Now if the interest is high enough we can maybe have one van from each generation added to the shirts.
If anyone here is an artist and can volunteer to draw up the three generations parked together with our club insignia on the top or the bottom of the three vans. Thanks , Mark

We're working on that for the memorial weekend rally next year, well I am at least.
Yeah I'm down, I think someone here did that once too. Can always print iron on decals at home too,but they're not as nice.

I still need someone to design a few maybe we can do one with a 1st gen Astro then a second gen would be a Safari then the third gen another Astro? please someone give me some ideas so I have something to present to the T shirt companies . I plan on submitting the ideas to more then one company to see who can give us the best prices and versatility on designs. Maybe we can have two designs , one with Astro's and one with Safari's. Thanks Mark

I am all for having a first gen and a second gen option. But other then having 6 lug nuts, is the 3rd gen visually any different that a second gen? And what about sealed beam front ends versus composite? I think for simplicity sake we have a generic setup that is not astro or safari specific. But that's just me.

I spoke to one company this morning and as with any T shirt company the more we order the cheaper they get. We need some artwork such as drawing of a 1st gen a second gen and a third gen vans all together. I am not good at such things but I would recommend the 1st gen be an Astro the second gen be a Safari with regular headlights then the third be either or with composite headlights. or maybe the 2nd gen can be a 1995? since it is the in between.
Ideas on this are very much welcomed as is any artwork you all wish to use as an input. Remember pride in this club will be represented by these shirts. Mark
