Started dropping the trans in the Escalade today. Can tell by the ATF she's munched. Clutches have to be gone.

ATF wasn't lookin that good in the Escalade. I managed to get the exhaust off the manifold and cut the band clamp. I also extracted the transfer case and stuck it in the back for safe keeping. I have a ton I need to do still but am getting somewhere.Disconnections are probably the big thing, I need to do flexplate, lines, wires and shifter linkage.

Just finished changing the left front wheel bearing on the Town & Country. All the bolts and nuts came out just fine, but spent hours beating on it just to get it separated. But it's back together and quiet now. Of course, taking it apart I realized that it needs new rotors and pads, so I'll have to get those on order now.

The trans is down but not out. I'm going to have to jack it higher up to get it out. I may pop the bell housing under vehicle as well to make it a bit easier to work with. After that it's time to pack it and a pile of parts up and take it to the shop to pick up the fresh one. Gonna offload a **** of my other parts too and clean out the garage.

Escalade trans was out last week, I have the new one on the jack, the torque converter seated (it seems correctly) and I've got it ready to jack into place. Need a few parts and want to prep a few things before I do it though. I pressure washed off the adapter, the crossmember and the exhaust heat shield before I ended up giving up for the night. Need a buncha seals and gaskets and hoping to make good progress tomorrow.

Replaced a wheel cylinder on the Geo Prizm. I had just put new AC Delco ones in a couple of months ago, but the left side one decided to extend itself out in 1 direction, and jammed itself like that, causing a leak. Still haven't autopsied it yet to see what happened. Freaking Chinese made parts.
