I just ordered and received a new fuel pump for my 2002 Astro from a place I found on the intenet called acdelcodirect.com. Got the pump and I'm not sure if I got a cheap counterfiet part. The pump I needed was a MU1775. No where on this part is the Delco # or the delco name. It did not come in delco packaging. The original that came on the van said Delco on the label. I thought Delco would be proud of their stuff and expected to see the Delco name somewhere on the pump. Called the company and they assured me that they are an authorized distributor for ac delco. Can anybody shed any light on this for me. I've read a lot of complaints on the internet about companies sending cheap imitation parts. How can I tell if I did get an original Delco part?

they may be an authorized delco distributor, but that doesn't mean they don't carry after market parts. i don't think i've ever bought a delco part or any other OEM part for that matter that didn't come in "their" box.
