AC DELCO PARTS AND OEM PARTS LISTING?

Postby dixie1273 [OP] » January 10th 2010, 5:14pm

Ok, does any one know of a website to get information and pricing on GM parts as if you would be calling the dealer. i make several calls a week to my local CHEVROLET dealer looking for prices, info or availability. i would love to have a GM website where i can go and look up my own parts, prices and part numbers and i can order from that website or call my dealer and give them the part number and get it there. any suggestions?? :feedback:

I like gmpartsdirect.com, and I've used it once or twice. Only problem is that they don't tell you certain specifics that would be nice to know and they don't have a phone number if I recall correctly. But the price beats the dealer by a lot on most items.

Unfortunately, though, a lot of AC Delco parts are now being made overseas (which is one of those specifics I was referring to)...another battle lost to outsourcing. My AC Delco HVAC resistor was made in Slovenia; I put it in, and it failed after less than a year. Went and got an original part out of the junkyard and, dirt-caked as it was, it's been fine. So go figure.
Not all van drivers are rapists.
