Postby Lumpy [OP] » April 2nd 2015, 10:06pm

Bought bolts and nuts today at CopperState. MMMMM Bolt Porn!!!

They gave me the stuff in an empty WD-40 box. Interesting read on the side -

Here is more detail.

http://www.reddit.com/r/mildlyinteresti ... r_product/

I use PB blaster now and a lot less WD40.
How many sensors, fuses or computers does a Bw4472 need? Zero.

You just wait. All the other states are following our lead on emissions control so next It will be VOC as well. Say good bye to anything that dried fast and lasted.

FRICKIN EVERYTHING is illegal in California, why should WD40 be any different.

Remember when this was far fetched? THIS is California's future!

me too is that a california thing? I may very well be moving back to New Hampshire since my stepson and wife are both ready to move. Yes Chevy you told me so but my wife wanted to come here and even though I am not the follow type sometimes when you love someone you have to go along to keep things good. I don't hate California but if we move back my van will be non smog and have much more power to weight ratio. If I can get the transmission back together and working right.

Upside-down is good....down on the nice, cool, cement floor is even better. In a box, of course, so they don't get kicked around. :2:

Yeah I dunno about upside down..but I do know my cans that are a few YEARS old still shoot paint like nobodies biznit. Something about the low VOC crap..it leaks out. I also notice my spray nozzles on the cans are always clogging up with small chunks of paint. I shake the holy hell out of my cans before use. There shouldnt be any chunks of anything. And again..NEVER had that problem until recently.

I actually have several iterations of that. So, cost of rattle can paint in CA, about $106. Plus tax. :D

I have at least 10 different cans in use at any given time.

So what's the theory behind being upside down? If I turn my leaky compressed air tank upside down...it still leaks.
