Jack Stands and Manual

Good-day,

We have a 2001 Astro AWD and am looking to purchase couple of jack stands for when I work on the Van. I see several different types (ratings) and would like to know what would be suffient for the van? 2.5 ton

Also I'm looking for a good manual and would like to know if anyone has any ideas of where to go -online or purchase a copy.

Not sure what manual you wanted but this is a parts guide from 1985 to 03 astro & safari

IMO get the heaviest jackstands within your budget. These vans are heavy and if you want it 18" off the ground you want to feel safe under it.

BTW that was a great parts guide, where did you get it and do they have it for other vehicles ??
