White Face Gauges

Hope this is the right spot for this.
I want some White Face Gauges for my Astro. I've looked at all the ones on ebay and none really catch my fancy. I then remembered this company I had got some from, for my Lumina. WhiteGauges.Net. I liked the high quality and the options for customization they allow. Long story short they don't have them for the Astro/Safari, Savanna/Express (same cluster). However there is an option to request them and they say if they get enough request they will make them.

Here are some pictures of them on my Lumina.

And as you can see the idiot lights show through the gauges with these.

EDIT: I guess I should clarify, that these are just overlays for the current clusters.

Summit Racing carries quite a selection of gages. You may want to give them a looksee.

On the BMW forum that I participate in, a couple of the guys made their own by disassembling a used/broken cluster and scanning the placards cards. Then they edited it in P-shop, then they printed it on high quality cardstock paper and performed the painstaking process of cutting out the windows and curves with an exacto knift.

I don't know if an Astro cluster can be disassembled in the same manner but this would be another option. I think I'd want to convert to white on my van because Gen 1 consoles are very hard to see without the lights being on.

The gen 1 can be done. I did it. lot off work. But replaced it with a 94 white face gauge dash..

Seems that there are no pic anymore in my gallery.

Very nice. I used to have one in my 1st Grand Prix. Loved it. Never really looked into one for the Astro/Safari

Got an email from the company, said they would do one if i provided a cluster so i think i'm going to find me a junk one and send it to them

First scan your dash and then start your paintshop
Never did finish this project, bought the dash from Evan..
