Yellow Foam

Postby GC Astro [OP] » October 30th 2010, 1:24am

I took my air filter housing off today and found yellow foamy oily stuff all over part of my throttle body assembly. It seems that it is an oil-water mixture. My oil on my dipstick looks and smells normal, so I am assuming the water/moisture is just coming from condensation or something like that. But still, how am I getting oil in my intake? The PCV valve is new, so I know its fine. Has any one experienced this or have any idea where this could be coming from?

Also, I am having what I think is an EGR problem, but could this be part of it? Thanks for any help.

check front and rear corners at intake to heads for any seepage

intake gaskets is a common issue with these, the factory originals anyways
