I have a leaking hose. It's the one that goes from the steering box to behind the master cylinder. I have attached a picture of the replacement hose. How in the world do I get the hose off of the gear box? There is barely enough room to touch the flare nut, much less get a wrench on it. Do I need to remove the fan shroud?
You will probably have to pull the shroud. Is this for a 2wd or an awd van? 2wd you should be able to remove the shroud and maybe the fan and have enough room. When I did mine I had already switched to e-fans.
