Astro, '95 roof rack on '04?

Astro, '95 roof rack on '04?

Postby bradaskins [OP] » May 27th 2020, 11:57pm

Hey,

I know it's possible to do almost anything but, do you think you can get a '95 Astro roof rack and put it on an '04 Astro?
Has anyone done anything like this before?

Currently, my '04 has no rack of any kind. I was going to design one myself but if this would work it would be huge.

What do you think?

95-05 have the same body if I'm not mistaken, so I don't see why not

I dread taking off the headliners. So anything to make it easier would be great.

I took out the back headliner to cut a hole for the roof vent. It went fine, but the front headliner is long and I'll have to take off a lot of trim.

Ditch the headliner and never deal with it again! haha

But I suppose you could find threads on here about removing the trim and getting it off without messing it up too much.

I pulled a rack off of an '05 Suburban at the junkyard last weekend. Fits perfect, I'll try to install it this weekend.
