A/C compressor high pressure cutoff switch

Hello board members,

I’m having a heck of a time removing the electrical connector from this high pressure cutoff switch. I lift up on the tab and wiggle and pull, but, I can’t get it to budge. Am I missing something here?

Van is not driveable at this point. Got it taken down to the point i can remove the compressor, once I disconnect the switch connector.

Lift up tab? It has a squeeze tab.Push towards compressor, squeeze tab, pull apart.If is broke,then you will have to use a pick tool to disengage it.

My switch looks somewhat different than the photo you posted. Has some kind of blue tab.
