Do not use "QUICK REPLY" ... (but if you do then click "FULL EDITOR")

Use "POST REPLY" (red button, bottom left).. this also opens FULL EDITOR
Under the white text box are two tabs... click "UPLOAD ATTACHMENT"
This is how I usually do it.
(if you "QUOTE" someone, it also opens the FULL EDITOR)

You can alternately post photos in the gallery, then "link" them to your post.
A tiny bit more involved, but the advantage is you can always find your photos.

Cleaned it up but it’s pitted around that port. Hope it’ll be ok.

Yes, I researched on this forum and made sure I got the right gasket set from Fel-Pro. Bought some new IM bolts too and a few other odds and ends.Thinking I’ll replace the leaking oil cooler lines while I’m at it, easy to get too with the fan shroud out of the way.

However, I did not pull the fan, I left it on, it’s not really in the way. Had a new water pump installed several months before it overheated and I found the gasket leak. So no reason to pull the fan off.

I used to use a shop here in town on the corner of Grant and Tanque Verde, Kolb roads. Was a Goodyear garage and we’d been going there for over 20 years. The manager was a personal friend and would get me discounts and even troubleshoot stuff for free. He retired shortly after MPG auto took over. I had taken two vehicles to that MPG store and both times they screwed something up and I caught them “pencil-whipping” the bill.

So that company just lost a valuable customer, lol. So now I’m back to monkey-wrenching, which I prefer anyway. Just replaced every ac component with complete new parts in my 1995 Jeep Wrangler and it blows ice cold. Built a custom metal glove box for my Jeep too.
